The Dubai Sports Council confirmed, in a press release, that all sports facilities in Dubai were equipped on a global level, and to ensure their full readiness to organize local and international sports competitions and receive the fans, according to safety standards, immediately after the decision of the Supreme Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management.
The Dubai Sports Council has taken pre-emptive steps, after setting advance plans for the return of sports activity and preparing for the return of the fans in a safe and orderly manner, and by concerted joint efforts, the Council was keen on the readiness of clubs through the implementation of the protocols that it had set, where the Council held last June a meeting (The return of future fans to sports stadiums), to draw a road map for the safe return of sports fans of various categories, nationalities and sports, in cooperation with the Dubai Police, and with the participation of local and international clubs and sports institutions, and its activities were held at Al Maktoum Stadium in Al Nasr Club, in which successful experiences of competent authorities were reviewed. On this topic at the local and international levels, through presenting samples from the international federations, which have begun to implement the gradual return of the masses, and the plans that guarantee the safety of the public and the participants were also reviewed.
The Dubai Sports Council has provided a model for the public sitting in stadiums and halls on the main stage of the Al Maktoum Stadium, and the club's closed hall, in accordance with safety standards and approved spacing procedures. The statement stated: “Field visits were organized to the main football stadiums in sports clubs in the Emirate of Dubai, to determine the procedures established in the event of receiving the fans and the mechanisms for implementing the protocols for each sport and every facility, and to ensure their preparations and readiness through the application of all criteria, where the clubs implemented all The procedures are in accordance with the relevant issued protocols, ensuring the health and safety of the participants, the public, and all members of society alike. ”
