Dibba Al-Hisn club presented its new coach, Portuguese Roy Antonio, to his leadership in the next season of the first division 2010-2021, in a press conference that was evaluated this evening at the club’s headquarters, in the presence of the Chairman of the Board Ibrahim Saeed Baghdad Al Darmaki, the head of professionalism and the first team Mohammed Saif Al-Dhahoori, General Secretary Saeed Mohammed Khalifa Al-Riyami, Team Supervisor Mohamed Sorour, and Team Leader Salem Jassem, in the presence of members of the Board of Directors, and announced during that team’s preparations will start next Sunday with the participation of all players except foreigners after the necessary measures have been completed.

Coach Roy previously coached Dibba Al-Hisn and the Sharjah reserve while his last stop was as a coach for the Saudi Al-Hilal reserve in the season before last.

For his part, Ibrahim Al Darmaki said that the selection of the coach came based on an in-depth study of his technical capabilities and his training course, and that the aim of this is to continue the competition to go up to the professionals and welcome the coach and wished him success and assured that all the requirements for his success will be secured.

Coach Antonio said he was happy to return to his club, who supervised his training three seasons ago, and that his team was a competitor and was looking forward to leading him to the limelight.

It is noteworthy that Dibba Al-Hisn finished last season in second place, succeeding the UAE leader in the arrangement of the first division teams before four rounds of the end of the tournament that was canceled and was close to the first rise of the professional league.
