  Chinanews.com client July 16th local time, the International Olympic Committee official website released news that the 4th Summer Youth Olympic Games originally scheduled to be held in Dakar, Senegal from October to November 2022 Postponed until 2026.

  The International Olympic Committee wrote: "The postponement of the Tokyo Olympics has forced many international sporting events to be postponed. Postponing the holding of the Youth Olympic Games will enable the International Olympic Committee, national and regional Olympic Committees and international sports organizations to have more changes. More time to make the next plan."

  The International Olympic Committee also said that postponing the event will allow Senegal more time to prepare.

  The Youth Olympic Games is a comprehensive sports event set by the International Olympic Committee for young people between 14 and 18 years old. The first Youth Olympic Games was held in Singapore in 2010. In 2014, the Youth Olympic Games landed in Nanjing, China. In 2018, Buenos Aires, Argentina successfully hosted the third Youth Olympic Games.
