Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez stressed that crowning the "Blaugrana" in the Spanish league title this season has become impossible, demanding that he not search for excuses, as he put it.
He told the Spanish newspaper "Mundo Deportivo": "Justifying what happened with technical video errors is unhelpful, and the problems that the team faced should be fixed before returning to the Champions League confrontations."
He added: "We have to criticize ourselves only. We left the title fleeing from our hands after we were leading ... Now we must work to regain the pride of the Catalan team by winning the remaining two games and then focus on the only title we can achieve, which is the Champions League."
Barcelona occupies second place, four points behind rivals Real Madrid, two rounds before the end, and the riyal is one of two games away to officially win the title for the 34th time in its history.
It is noteworthy that Suarez became this season's third best scorer in Barcelona history after he scored the 195th goal in 278 games.
