The striker played last season in RB Leipzig, in the German third division Regionalliga Nordost, but during the peak of his career belonged to the former German big team Turbine Potsdam, Swedish Rosengård and French Paris Saint-Germain.

Dangerous Mittag won both the World Cup (2007) and the Olympics (2016) with Germany. In addition, she won three European Championship gold medals (2005, 2007 and 2013) before ending her national team career after the quarter-final against Denmark in 2017. At the club team level, there were two Champions League titles (2005 and 2010), five Bundesliga titles (2004, 2006, 2009, 2010, 2011) and two Swedish Championship golds (2013 and 2014).
