Mali Aliyu Diang, midfielder of the first football team in the Egyptian Al-Ahly Club, said on Tuesday that Al-Ahly is no less than European clubs, but rather a role model for professional work, noting that the team dreams of achieving the current version of the African Champions League.

Diang said in statements to the club's official website published today, that everything inside Al-Ahly goes according to professional principles and standards, and everyone knows his role well.

He added that crowning the title of the current version of the African Champions League is a big dream for the team players to delight Al-Ahly fans.

He continued: "I am one of those players who dream and desperately desire to win the title, and to associate the name of the current generation with the legends of the club, who previously achieved this title before, so we will spare no effort to achieve this dream."

Diang stressed that he is well aware of the value and importance of crowning the African Champions League, and he is personally waiting for this title, to achieve the dream of participating in the Club World Cup, which has great interest and follow-up, especially that participating in a world championship of this size is a dream for him.

He pointed out that the focus of the players and the technical staff at the present time is on completing the Egyptian Premier League competitions, after the interruption period due to the pandemic of the Corona virus emerging (Covid-19).
