According to UFC analyst Michael Carroll on Twitter, in a fight with Brazilian Jose Aldo Ian struck 194 significant blows, which is the best indicator in history in the lightest division.

Ian knocked out Aldo in the fifth round and became the new UFC bantamweight champion. The fight took place at the UFC 251 tournament on Fight Island in Abu Dhabi. 

For the Russian, this victory was the 15th in MMA with one defeat. Aldo lost his seventh career duel with 28 wins.
