The Bayer Leverkusen of trainer Peter Bosz and Daley Sinkgraven plays in a victory over Rangers against Internazionale at Getafe in the quarterfinals of the Europa League. That determined the draw Friday.

Bayer Leverkusen won 1-3 in Scotland and therefore has good papers to reach the quarterfinals. Internazionale and Getafe - just like Seville and AS Roma - have not yet finished a first game and play one game in Germany for a ticket to the quarterfinals.

The winner of Sevilla (Luuk de Jong) against AS Roma (Justin Kluivert) will face Olympiacos or Wolverhampton Wanderers in the quarterfinals. The first game in Greece ended in 1-1.

Furthermore, the winner of LASK-Manchester United (0-5 in Austria for United) was linked to the winner of Basaksehir (Eljero Elia) against FC Copenhagen. The Turks won the first game in their own home with 1-0.

VfL Wolfsburg (Wout Weghorst) or Shakhtar Donetsk (the Ukrainians won in Germany 1-2) finally compete against Eintracht Frankfurt (Bas Dost and Jonathan de Guzman) or FC Basel (Ricky van Wolfswinkel). The Swiss already won 0-3 in Germany.

Draw semifinals EL

  • Olympiacos / Wolverhampton or Sevilla / AS Roma-LASK / Manchester United or Basaksehir / FC Copenhagen
  • Bayer Leverkusen / Rangers of Internazionale / Getafe-VfL Wolfsburg / Shakhtar Donetsk or Eintracht Frankfurt / FC Basel

Eighth finals on August 5 and 6

The remaining matches in the eighth finals of the Europa League - apart from Internazionale-Getafe and Sevilla-AS Roma - are still played in the home of the home club and are scheduled for August 5 and 6.

As in the Champions League, all Europa League matches are also without an audience. The quarter-finals (August 10 and 11), the semi-finals (August 16 and 17) and the final (August 21) take place on German soil: in Duisburg, Düsseldorf, Gelsenkirchen and Cologne. In the latter place, the final battle is played.
