It is not really a surprise, but it is now confirmed: the Final 8 of Lisbon will be played without supporters in the stadiums of the Portuguese capital. UEFA has confirmed this in a statement, on the eve of the draw for the quarter-finals of the Champions League, which will therefore be played in an unprecedented forma mini-tournament over ten days, from 12 to 23 August.

In its press release, UEFA also provides important information for Lyon, who will play their eighth-final second leg in Turin, on Juventus court, and not on neutral ground in Portugal, as it was previously mentioned. There, too, and like all matches at the end of the season in the Europa League, the Champions League and the Women's Champions League, the match will be played behind closed doors.
