Angelica Bengtsson walked 4.36 meters in a chilly Karlstad and managed the height in the second attempt. She also managed 4.46 in the second attempt and then temporarily led the competition.

Her two opponents Katerina Stefanidi and Sandi Morris saw Bengtsson's jump on the computer from California and Florida, respectively.

Bengtsson then tore out at 4.56. It gave a second place.

Morris won at 4.66

Olympic champion Stefanidi had a failed season debut and tore out at the entry height of 4.46 meters. That left the field open for Morris, who won the contest at 4.66.

Here's how it goes: Zurich's star-studded Weltklasse competition took place this year in seven locations that were digitally linked.
