After Tottenham's penalty loss to Norwich in the FA Cup's fifth inning four months ago, Dier stepped up to a stand at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London to hunt and confront a home team supporter.

The reason should have been that the supporter was involved in an incident with Dier's younger brother, according to Australian ABC. Eric Dier was taken away by security guards, down from the stands, after screaming at the supporter.

The 26-year-old England national midfielder, who started in 18 of 33 Premier League matches this season, now misses the "Spurs" upcoming league meetings with Bournemouth (tomorrow, Thursday), Arsenal (Sunday), Newcastle (July 15) and Leicester (July 19).
