Guest Parma got a taste of the match when they were awarded a penalty after VAR review. Roma defender Bryan Cristante accidentally hit Andreas Cornelius and Juraj Kucka pulled the penalty behind Pau Lopez.

Roma had a clear grip on the match and it was only a matter of time before the receipt would come. And it did so the minute before the break through Henrikh Mkhitaryan.

Kulusevski invisible

Rome's dominance continued after the break and it was a very ungrateful task for Kulusevski who most often chased the ball and rarely participated in any orderly attacking game. 2-1, a button came into the second half through a rookie smoker by Jordan Veretout who knotted a rock hard ball past both the back and goalie near the post.

There were several situations for further goals for the home team, while Parma rarely came to an end. Despite that, Parma had a chance to take the lead after 73 minutes when VAR again came through to help the VAR situation. It did not become a second Parma penalty and Roma could win very fairly. In the final minutes, the team had several very good chances to extend their lead.
