Joaquín Purito Rodríguez suffered a serious fall on Wednesday while training on a mountain bike together with some colleagues at the Bike Park in Vallnord (Andorra). The former professional cyclist had to be hospitalized at the Nostra Senyora Hospital in Meritxell, as he revealed himself on his social networks.
"Again," Purito announced in the image showing his condition after the incident in Andorra. Admitted to the hospital, Rodríguez appears in bed with his right arm in a cast. The exact consequences of the fall are not yet known.
Among Purito's companions was José Antonio Hermida , silver medalist at the 2004 Athens Olympic Games on MTB.
The Purito Rodríguez cycling tour is scheduled for September 13, the famous La Purito for the Andorran ports.
