The tenth session of the Dubai Sports World opened yesterday, the most famous summer event, which was launched by the Dubai World Trade Center, in cooperation with the Dubai Sports Council, and its activities will continue until the third of October.

Dubai Sports World will be held this year, amid strict preventive measures, to ensure the health and safety of all people and workers at the event site, in line with Dubai's efforts to limit the spread of the Covid-19 virus. All entrances to the establishment of events were equipped with thermal cameras to check the visitors' temperature, and disinfection equipment was installed throughout the site, and visitors are required to wear masks at all times, unless they engage in heavy physical activities.

The announcement of the organization of the activities of "Dubai Sports World", this year, comes after the decision of Dubai Sports Council to resume sports and various fitness activities, while adhering to all the instructions and directives issued by the Supreme Committee for Crisis and Disaster Management, and other health authorities, in order to ensure the health, safety and welfare of players Visitors and community members.

A statement issued by the Dubai Sports Council said, "Dubai Sports World" offers a modified program, which hosts eight sports: football, basketball, cricket, badminton, tennis, volleyball, paddle tennis, and table tennis.

Saeed Hareb stressed that "Dubai Sports World" is one of the most important sporting events on the Dubai Sports Council's annual agenda.
