After being robbed this weekend, Franck Ribéry, who is currently playing under the colors of the Fiorentina, has left doubt about his future in Italy. "My family comes first, and we will make the decisions necessary for our well-being," he wrote in particular on Twitter. 

Franck Ribéry, the French striker from Fiorentina, left doubts on Monday about his future in Italy after being the victim of a burglary this weekend.

"On the return from this victory against Parma (2-1 for Fiorentina), I went home. (...) This is what I discovered ...", wrote Ribéry in a message posted on Twitter, accompanied of a short video in which we see personal effects thrown on the ground, apparently the tracks left by burglars looking for valuables. "So yes, my wife lost a few bags, some jewelry, but al Hamdulillah, it's not the main thing. What shocks me is this feeling of being naked, of having the pants down and that , it does not pass, I do not accept it! ", continues the 37 year old player.

"Thank God my wife, my children were safe in Munich, but how can we trust today? How do I / we feel good here today after that?" Asked the footballer, leaving doubt on his will to stay in Italy after this event. "I don't run after the millions (...) however I always run after the ball because it's passionate. But passion or not, my family comes first, and we will make the decisions necessary for our well-being ", concluded Ribéry.

Valuable items may have been stolen

According to Italian media, precious objects were stolen from the French player's villa located on the heights of Florence. "I am sorry and touched by what happened to Franck Ribéry that night," said Rocco Commisso, president of the club, who called the player, on the Fiorentina website. "These are situations which, apart from the economic damage, represent real trauma for those who suffer them (...) especially when you find yourself without the serenity that each of us must have when he leaves his own family at home" , continued Rocco Commisso.
