Victor Wernersson traveled to Belgium to sign for Mechelen. Sports head Kennet Andersson did not appreciate the trip as Wernersson missed a workout the day before the match. According to Andersson, Wernersson had not announced that he was going to Belgium.

However, agent Blash Hosseini claims that IFK Gothenburg knew that the left-back would go to Belgium.

Wernersson has started in all matches for Blåvitt this competition season, but against IFK Norrköping tonight he has to start on the bench.

- It's sloppy. Had I been a player in Gothenburg I would have been crazy. You need to file the details when you have the match preparation pass, and missing such an important player as Wernersson would have been escaped. This needs to be handled better, says SVT Sports expert Daniel Nannskog.

Kick-off between IFK Norrköping and IFK Gothenburg is at 19.00.
