The Egyptian Football Association said it is considering honoring the Egyptian national team and Liverpool, Mohamed Salah.

Amr Al-Janaini, head of the quinquennial committee in charge of managing the Egyptian Football Association, confirmed on Monday: "My relationship with Mohamed Salah, the star of the Egyptian team and Liverpool, is more than wonderful and always in contact with him, and we plan to honor him as appropriate."

He indicated that the schedule of the domestic league matches will be announced soon.

On the sidelines of the conference announcing the unified ball that will be used in the games, Al-Janaini said that Hossam Al-Zanati, director of competitions, is making great efforts to set the schedule for the Egyptian League matches in light of the ambiguity of the position of international ties by the African Union. The competition, which was announced to resume on August 7th.

He added that there is a difficulty in determining the date of the end of the league championship in light of the lack of clarity in the fate of international matches, stressing that the Referees Committee will work with the same current formation.

Amr Al-Janaini praised the efforts of the previous councils of the Football Association and their efforts, stressing that the committee came to complete the work of its predecessors, and did not target anything but in favor of Egyptian football.
