The Swede went out to split 11th place after getting around on 67 strokes and five under par on the first day.

During the second round there were two under pairs, after three birdies and one bogey, but the round of 70 strokes caused the Swede to lose 19 places and is now in split third place, seven under par.

He is five strokes after the leader duo, consisting of Americans Chris Kirk and Webb Simpson, who went second round of 65 and 64 strokes respectively.

With an over pair, both on the round and in the total, Alex Norén failed to make the cut.
