The NBA announced today, Saturday, that the FC Dallas match with Vancouver Whitecaps had been postponed after players from the Dallas Club were infected with the new Corona virus.

"The postponement of the match allows both teams to have additional days of training in Orlando before their first match," the association said in an official statement.

"The exact timing and date will be announced in the near future," the statement added.

The two teams were scheduled to meet on the ninth of July in the return of the American League in Florida.

FC Dallas confirmed on Wednesday that six of its players had been infected with the Coruna virus while in Orlando.

The entire FC Dallas team entered the quarantine at the Walt Disney World Complex and Dolphin Resort.

FC Dallas will play its first match in the tournament on July 15 against the Seattle Sounders, then meet San Jose on the 20th of the same month.
