British star Lewis Hamilton and fellow Valtieri Potas, the Mercedes drivers, continued to dominate the free trials of the Austrian Grand Prix slated for Sunday at the opening of the F1-World Championship.

Hamilton and Potas achieved the first and second best times, respectively, in the third free trial today, Saturday, after they achieved the same during the first and second trials on Friday.

Hamilton achieved the best lap time at the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg, which is 4318 meters long, recording 1 minute and 4.30 seconds, followed by Potas by 0.77 seconds.

The Mercedes team dominated the three free trials to become the favorite in the official qualifying trials that are being held today to resolve the starting points for drivers in tomorrow's race.

Red Bull driver Max Verstappen, who won the Austrian race in each of the past two years, came in third with a difference of about 0.3 seconds, followed by Sergio Perez, driver of Racing Point, in fourth.
