Just over six months ago, the news came that Philadelphia Flyers' Swedish forward Oskar Lindblom, 23, had been hit by Ewing's sarcoma, an unusual type of skeletal cancer.

Since then, he has undergone cancer treatment, and was not present for the rest of the season he played before the series was paused due to the corona pandemic.

Ringing the bell

But last week, pleasing photos came from the United States, when the Flyers posted photos and videos of a smiling Lindblom who was training on ice with some teammates.

And today came the next positive message. Then Lindblom posted a video on Instagram, where he went to a hospital and rang a bell to signal that he had finished his treatment.

“An incredible feeling to ring the bell today. I can't even explain how grateful I am to the doctors, nurses and everyone else who has helped me over the last six months, ”he writes.
