The AFC said that the five football associations are India, Iran, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Uzbekistan. The AFC will assist the five aforementioned football associations in submitting necessary bid materials and will determine the organizer in 2021.
AFC President Salman thanked the Football Association who intends to bid for the 2027 Asian Cup. According to the AFC, among the five countries that intend to host the 2027 Asian Cup, Qatar hosted the Asian Cup twice in 1988 and 2011, Iran in 1968 and 1976, among which Iran was the host In this competition, they won the championship.
