Two weeks before the premiere, Lina Hurtig was injured in a training session. She sustained a knee injury after merging with a teammate. Then it was unclear how long Hurtig would be gone, and she missed the premiere. But Lina Hurtig has made progress in her rehab and already before Sunday's away game against Vittsjö she can be back.

- It is not entirely ruled out that there may be a jump-in already this weekend, but the likely thing is that we aim for match three Djurgården at home on July 11, says Linköping's coach and sports manager Olof Unogård to SVT Sport and continues:

- It's a little day to day for Quick. We'll see how things develop in the coming days.

Unogård says Hurtig's knee injury was rehabilitated faster than expected.

- This type of injury actually takes six to eight weeks, but so far it has definitely not taken.

Behind everything

In addition to Hurtig, Synne Skinnes Hansen is on the way back. Without both players, Linköping still got off to a good start at damallsvenskan as Växjö were down 3–0 where the new acquisition Ebere Orji scored two goals.

- She (Ebere Orji) was behind everything ahead. We are very happy, and especially with the first half. Then the second half is rather weak but controlled and the heat took its right.
