Already a week and a half ago, the Swedish team Wolfsburg secured the German championship title, for the fourth consecutive year.

But as two games remained to be played, the real celebration, with medals and the silver platter going to the winner, had to wait a while.

Simple victory

To this day, when the last league game of the season would be played.

But then the team got to celebrate all the more. The team won by 5-0 at home against the bottom team Bayer Leverkusen.

Goal and assist by Rolfö

Swedish star Fridolina Rolfö was one of the game's foreground figures. First she struck a fine post that Alexandra Popp nodded for 2-0 in the 20th minute. Then, in the 41st minute, she herself was well placed in front of goal and could easily bounce Popp's pass into the open goal.

The second half thus became a clean transport route, where Hedvig Lindahl (who made his first match since the corona stay) was very calm. This allowed her to end the Bundesliga career with Wolfsburg (she cannot renew a contract) with a zero.

In addition to Lindahl and Rolfö, Wolfsburg also belongs to Madelen Janogy. However, she was unable to play any league match before she returned to Sweden due to mental illness.
