As the

government anchored the corona boundary stage today (28th), when one of the other changes was now in the same stage, it allowed the sports stadium to receive up to a third of the crowd. The crowd will enter the professional baseball field as early as Friday.

<Reporter> The

government has established a step-by-step criterion for social distance, and in the '1st phase' that corresponds to the distance in the current life, the spectators have limited access to sports events.

[Park, Neung-Hoo/Ministry of Health and Welfare: Facilities at low-risk public institutions and sports spectators will be phased in. We will prepare for the spread of the epidemic that may occur.]

Accordingly, professional sports organizations such as baseball, soccer, and golf plan to discuss with the government the size and timing of admission this week.

First of all, plans to enter the spectators at about 30% of the capacity of the stadium and gradually increase the number of people are being considered.

Baseball, the first of its kind in professional sports, has a thorough prevention guideline and hopes that the spectators will be able to enter from Friday.

[Ryu Dae-Hwan/KBO Secretary-General: Since baseball is an outdoor game, it is much safer than an indoor game, so we will prepare for a safer baseball game through thorough prevention.]

For the time being, the KBO League Secretariat plans to confirm detailed guidelines according to the spectator's position, such as wearing a mask and sitting for a certain distance, and restraining large cheers that can cause drops.
