The IAAF said that according to the latest regulations of the French government to organize large-scale events, the organizers of the Paris station believe that there is not enough time this season to host a world-class IAAF event. The Diamond League Paris station will be held in 2021. Return in August.

Similar to the situation at the Paris station, Oregon, where the Eugene station is located, currently prohibits large-scale gathering activities including sports events, plus the current long-term international travel restrictions imposed by the United States, it is no longer possible to host the Eugene station this season. Next season the University of Oregon’s new Hayward track and field will usher in the return of the event.

Both the Eugene and Paris Diamond Leagues have witnessed the historic moment of Chinese athletics. On May 30, 2015, Su Bingtian ran 9 seconds and 99 in the men's 100-meter race at Eugene and won the third place, becoming the first Chinese player to open the 10-second mark. On June 30, 2018, Su Bingtian ran 9 seconds and 91 in the men's 100m race in Paris, tying his Asian record in Madrid 8 days ago. In the Eugene race of the season held on May 26th, Su Bingtian also ran out of 9 seconds and 90 seconds under the condition of super wind speed. (Finish)
