Director Yeom Kyung-yeop lost his consciousness suddenly and fell to the side after watching Doosan Oh Jae-il's blow while he was behind 6 and 3 at the beginning of the first two rounds of Doosan and the Double Header.

In a sudden emergency, not only SK players but also Doosan Kim Tae-hyung came to the scene and looked at Yeom with a puzzled look.

Director Yeom was immediately transported to the ambulance on a stretcher and headed to a nearby hospital.

An SK official said that Yeom was "somehow regained consciousness" during the transfer to the hospital.

Director Yeom is currently undergoing overhaul in the emergency room.

Director Yeom is known to have suffered from insomnia due to extreme stress because his team was unable to properly consume food during the 7th consecutive losing streak.

It is the first time in a professional baseball game that a coach has been fainted and transferred to a hospital during a game.

In the absence of Yeom, SK lost the first round of the double header to 14 to 6 and lost in the 8th straight streak.
