An MHSC player tested positive for Covid-19, the Montpellier football club announced on Wednesday.
"After the Covid-19 prevention tests carried out with MHSC players and staff, they reveal a positive Covid-19 case among the group," notes the MHSC in a press release. The club has taken the necessary measures to control it, "said the MHSC in a statement.
Placed in fortnight
The player has been placed in the fortnight.
At the end of April, Montpellier midfielder Junior Sambia had been hospitalized in intensive care for a serious form of Covid-19. It was the first case in Ligue 1.
Tuesday, Toulouse FC, relegated to L2, had announced four positive cases.
