It was two weeks ago that Johaug ran on Bislett himself. She had the help of luminous lamps at the coffin set at an end time of 31.50.

Johaug, who is known for bull rushing at the beginning of his race, did the same in Oslo but turned around quite quickly and waited in the light ramp and followed it before leaving it at the end and was ten seconds before the lights in the finish.

- One of the prerequisites for her running so well in Oslo was that she got help keeping down the speed in the beginning. I saw how she started and she couldn't have done it without the light hair. She ran away from it right away so for her it was very important to get that help, Iversen tells NRK.

Johaug agrees: "Has absolutely something to gain from it"

Iversen also sees parallels to Johaug's skiing tactics and believes that the ability to use the race better can make the performance even sharper for the super-Norwegian.

- She wins very often because she is in her own class, but perhaps we have seen a little too often that some competitors take in a little grand at the end or at least travel just as fast, says Iversen.

As part of knowing their body and doing an even load, part of the summer camp and roller ski training at Holmenkollen consisted of going all five rounds at the same speed without the aid of heart rate watches or other aids.

Johaug agrees that there are benefits to utilizing the forces better.

- I'm not the best in the team at that, but I'm not the worst either. But I definitely have something to gain from it, ”says Johaug.
