Folds is 22 years old and is from Lakeland, Florida. Folds has done some training and also played in the matches against Rosengård and Vittsjö (2-0 and 3-0 respectively).

- I feel very welcome and both the players and coaches have been 'amazing'. It will be so exciting and hopefully evolving to be a part of this team, ”Folds told the club's website.

"Maybe said no ..."

The transition has become infected when Folds was first in Linköping, who also paid her trip here, but then went to Gothenburg for trial games. When Linköping found out about the doubles, they broke off contact with both Folds and her agent, writes Aftonbladet.

- We didn't even know she was going there at all, had we done so we might have said no to this test game, says sports manager Mats Gren to Aftonbladet.

Drafted by the champions

But Gren is now very pleased that Folds is finally done.

- We have been watching Bri and been interested in her since January and been in contact with her team ever since.

Folds has played for Auburn University in Alabama and is drafted by the North Carolina Courage, which won the NWSL in both 2018 and 2019.
"It's a great opportunity for me to come here," says Bri Folds, who has played in all the junior national teams for the United States, from girl level up to U23.

Must not play the premiere

Folds is not ready for the premiere. She joined Gothenburg a few days after the last transfer window closed. Thus, the American is not ready until mid-July.

- It really doesn't matter, now I get an opportunity to catch up and get in the best possible shape, says Folds.
