The cliff Mattias Bjärsmyr, 34, was allowed to play for the first time tonight after returning from Turkish Gençlerbirliği. He was placed as a midback, next to 17-year-old Jesper Tolinsson.

But it was no fun start for the duo, and perhaps especially for Bjärsmyr. For already in the third minute David Löfquist made a cross from the right side. Bjärsmyr jumped to nod the ball, but did not reach high enough. Instead, Jacob Bergström appeared behind Bjärsmyr and mastered the ball in goal, past Ioannis Anestis in the IFK Gothenburg goal.

Mjällby has lost both of their first matches in the Allsvenskan.
