Ståhl failed completely in Södertälje at the beginning of the week, six attempts - no result. Even at the season premiere in Oslo, something was missing, even though the Doha world champion won that competition at just under 66 meters.

But today things went better. Daniel Ståhl started a bit tiring, but in the third round, got a hit where the discus landed at 70.25. It is actually only the fifth time in his career that the Swede is over 70 meters. Ståhl's Swedish record reads at 71.86.

Pettersson was also impressed

Colleague Simon Pettersson also showed that the form is on the way, the Hässelby cast hit a new personal record, 67.10.

The women's discus was won by Emma Ljungberg, Spårvägen, at 56.10, new personal best there too.

Fanny Roos doubled with both discus and bullet, the latter branch went best. Roos finished with 18.77, just under 30 centimeters from her own Swedish record.
