Ahmed Rady is considered one of the most prominent Iraqi stars who have made their fame in the Iraqi football march during the past 50 years in addition to Falah Hassan, Hadi Ahmed, Hussein Saeed and Younis Mahmoud, Nashat Akram, Adnan Darjal, Hawar Mulla Muhammad and others, which contributed to granting him the title of century player in Iraq.
