For the first time since December, Paul Pogba played and made an impression.

- Paul really showed great quality out there. He contributed very, very much to us getting one point and could actually have helped us to three. It is so wonderful to have him back, says United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer according to AP.

It was the team's first matches since the English High League was paused in mid-March due to the corona pandemic.

In the evening match on midsummer evening at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the Swedish national team midfielder Victor Nilsson Lindelöf started in Manchester United.

Tottenham big striker Harry Kane was injured on January 1, but now he was back - and in the 27th minute he saw teammate Steven Bergwijn shoot 1-0. The Dutch ran a bit easily through the United defense. Midback Harry Maguire got in the wrong and was passed before Bergwijn shot David De Gea, who probably should have been able to bounce the ball outside rather than up the net.

Nilsson Lindelöf injured?

On December 26 was the last Paul Pogba played in the Premier Leagur. 63 minutes into the game, United were awarded a penalty.

As Pogba advanced in the penalty area, Eric Dier dropped him at the card line. An indecisive penalty by Bruno Fernandes made 81 minutes played

A second penalty for United was rejected by the VAR video review system at the end of the match.

Nilsson Lindelöf was given a chance to change things around. He reached for the leg on the bench. Any damage is unclear.

After 1–1, Manchester United are fifth (straight to Europa League) in a lopsided table and Tottenham eight.

Pucci's miss cost

Jumba Norwich did not get a fun restart in the Premier League. Facing empty stands, Teemu Pukki and his teammates were overpowered by visiting Southampton who easily won by 3-0.

Danny Ings started the goal shooter with his 1–0 goal with just under 50 minutes played and only shortly thereafter, Ings assisted Stuart Armstrong who extended the lead. Ings has now scored 16 league goals and is shadowing the shooting league leader Jamie Vardy (19 goals).

Autumn's big surprise, the Finnish Pukki, had a great opportunity to bring life to his Norwich with just over an hour played - but the finish went on to cover defenders. Instead, Southampton definitely killed the game when Nathan Redmond rolled in 3-0 after a counter with just over ten minutes left to play.

This means that the team from the UK's southern coast, which last winter at the bottom of the table, has a comfortable ten point margin to the relegation spot. For Norwich, however, the gloomy trend continues and Pucci's gang has won only five of 30 league matches.
