The director of Al-Ahly Youth Academy, Dr. Musa Abbas, said, “It is unfair to cancel everything.” He stressed that Al-Ahly youth is not the only victim. For his part, Al-Jazira team manager, Hussein Suhail, said that he sees that all clubs are damaged, pointing out that all clubs lost the effort and money that they spent since the beginning of the season, while he pointed out that what this decision attributes is that the world lives in exceptional circumstances.
On canceling the cup, he said: “The decision is very logical, and it has an aspect of justice, although some were speaking that it is one game and easy to take place, but in return there would have been injustice on the league clubs, that one of the clubs be given the opportunity to win the title of championship, while it was Canceling the league, so failure to establish the final is a fair decision. ”
Suhail said to «Emirates Today»: «amateur clubs are the most affected by the cancellation of the competition». He added: "The Emirates Club needed one point to settle its qualification, along with Dibba Al-Hisn, who lost an important opportunity." With regard to the Arab Gulf League, he said: "I see that the situation of Al Ahly youth is not very different from Al Ain and the clubs that were competing for the title, especially with the presence of seven remaining rounds, and it is possible to make major changes during it."
