The draw for the AFC U-16 Junior Cup soccer tournament, which took place today, and was organized by the Competitions Department in the Asian Football Confederation, by means of video calling, the national team in a balanced group is the second, which includes Tajikistan, Oman and Yemen, knowing that the tournament is scheduled in Bahrain from November 25 to December 12 next, with 16 teams participating.
According to the lottery system, the 16 teams were divided into four groups, with each group comprising four teams that play in the league system from one role, and the first and second ranks of each group qualify to the quarter-finals, provided that the four teams qualified to formally qualify for the final World Cup 2021, scheduled for Peru.
The participating teams were classified into 4 levels, according to the results of the last edition of the tournament held in Malaysia, where Bahrain was the "host of the tournament" at the head of the first group and will play against North Korea, Qatar and Iran, in contrast, the third group included South Korea, Uzbekistan, India, Australia, and the fourth Japan Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, and China.
