Johaug ran alone at Bislett, but was given speed assistance by lamps on the inside edge of the runway. And even though the 31-year-old looked tormented during much of the race, she fixed the World Cup qualifying limit from Doha in 2019, when she ran in goal in the time of 31.40.69.

Do you want further proof of how good the time was? Then you get this:

Thingnes Bö completely ended

On Monday, Norway's best biathletes ran over 3,000 meters. They had decided to try to keep Johaug's mileage (3.10), which turned out to be difficult. The biggest biathlon star, Johannes Thingnes Bö, managed to run at 3.04 per kilometer - which was a bit faster than Johaug. But he was completely exhausted afterwards.

- It only took five seconds. There is no doubt that he had received a lot of punches from Johaug, he had not managed that speed in 10,000 meters, says NRK athletics commentator Jann Post.

"The train had passed me"

Bö also does not believe himself that he had managed to win against Johaug.

- That train had passed me after four kilometers. She trains well and deserves all the accolades she can get. It is incredibly good, he says.

The fastest of the biathletes was Erlend Bjöntegård. He ran 3,000 meters in time 8.54.
