Uefa came this afternoon announcing both this and next season of the Champions League. The latter concerns Djurgården, who will qualify for the tournament as all Swedish champion 2019.

SVT Sport expert Daniel Nannskog commented on the decision, which states that the team plays single matches in all qualifying rounds except the last one, which is decided in the form of double meetings.

- It will be extremely special for Djurgården. With the lottery deciding whether to play the single match at home or away, it becomes almost like playing the lottery. They really have to sit and hold their thumbs, he says, and continues:

- At the same time you can turn and turn on it. If Djurgården gets a really tough opponent and the flow to get home, it can prove to be fantastic that it is just a singles meeting, that you avoid a away match.

That the tournament of the year is played clearly, like a mini-tournament of twelve days in Lisbon, pleases Nannskog

- There is so much that is at stake and it therefore feels logical and right that it is played clearly. I really like it being played, that we get a winner in both the men's and women's Champions League and Europa League, he says and continues:

- This feels like a sensible solution to the whole thing. I am very positive that you do not reset this year's edition, but that you play clearly. It is also nice that it will start again.

Djurgården's Sports Manager Bosse Andersson is relieved of the message, he tells SVT Sport here.
