The move is due to an increase in covid-19 cases in North Carolina.

It is the second time in history that the race is run at a different location than at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

New location will be Bristol Motor Speedway in Tennessee, with room for 155,000.

Nascar was one of the first sports in the United States to start again after the corona eruption, with a race on May 17 at an empty Darlington Raceway. Several races have been run since then, on Sunday, 1,000 spectators were allowed to watch the race in Homestead, Florida.

As many as 4,000 will be able to see this weekend's competition on site in Lincoln, Alabama.
