Liverpool announced that its Nigerian player, Taiwo Onyi, loaned to the German team Mainz, is recovering well from a head injury with a concussion, which he suffered during his team's match against Augsburg in the German League.
Liverpool said on its official website, that the 22-year-old had to go out on a stretcher during the first half of the match, which was held on Sunday, after suffering a strong fusion and heavy fall.
The club continued: "Onii was taken to a hospital and subjected to x-rays that confirmed that there was no fracture, and he remained in the hospital to be observed."
