One of the most promising French climbers died accidentally on Sunday afternoon between Crolles and Saint-Pancrasse (Isère). A native of Chambéry, Luce Douady (16) has indeed, as Le Dauphiné Libéré reveals , made a fatal fall by sliding from a path leading to a climbing sector in the Chartreuse massif.
She was accompanied by a group of friends tackling the Luisset cliff when, according to Le Dauphiné Libéré , she fell about 150 m. An investigation was opened by the high mountain gendarmerie platoons (PGHM) and the Civil Security, who took charge of the body.
