Hazem Imam, the right back of the Egyptian football team, Zamalek, confirmed today that he is close to renewing his contract with the white team.
Imam said in remarks carried by the club's official website that he was happy with moral appreciation by Zamalek officials.
He added that he would renew his contract for the second time in the presence of Mortada Mansour in the club’s presidency.
“Everyone is happy that French Patrice Carteron continues to lead the team’s technical leadership. Carteron has made a fantastic artistic and psychological state in Zamalek since he took the job and led the team to win the African and local Super Championships.
Imam stressed that the team players adhere to the technical staff program to maintain fitness, and the team doctor communicates with the players to implement preventive measures against the Corona virus.
It is noteworthy that Zamalek is currently ranked fourth in the Egyptian Football League ranking, which is currently suspended due to the Corona virus, with 31 points from 16 games, a difference of 18 points, behind its traditional rival Al-Ahly (the leader), who fought 17 games, knowing that Zamalek will be deducted three Points from his score at the end of the season - once completed - due to his withdrawal from the summit meeting against Al-Ahly in February.
