Kristoffer Lindén and Anders Brohäll are two newly saved in a still limited number of modern golfers.

When SVT Sport meets the duo at Kungsängens GK, they plow through 18 holes of golf during the hour.

A football skill with experience from marathons and an ultra runner, both of course with decent golf knowledge, who wanted to find something new.

The speed golf united their interests in the best way.

- We go out at seven in the morning, are ready before eight, have played a golf round and also received training, says Lindén, who has only experienced positive reactions from the surroundings.

These are surprising questions like "have you run around ?!" and "how fast did it go?"

What is the most common comment?

- You are not wise!

Then speed golf goes

The rules are simple: a maximum of seven clubs that are carried, the number of strokes added together with the duration and becomes total results. A deflected ball may be replaced in the escape line with a duty blow.

Kristoffer Lindén's record is 80 strokes and just over 57 minutes, ie 137, but far from the most international.

The world record is from a competition in Australia 2016, 77 strokes in breathtaking 31 (!) Minutes, a total of 108.

This summer, a couple of Swedish competitions, Allerum this weekend and Oskarshamn, will be decided in July and in August an SM at Täby Golf Club. For the last gold, 75 strokes were required in 52 minutes. There are also international tours, an annual World Cup and British Open.
