As the English Football League prepares to resume activities on June 17 after a hiatus of more than three months due to the outbreak of the new Corona virus infection, all 20 clubs have agreed to strict medical protocols to implement with the contest resuming.

The English Premier League confirmed, through rigorous tests to detect coronavirus infections, its willingness to resume the competition from next Wednesday after a 100-day hiatus due to the Corona pandemic.

All players, members of the technical, administrative and medical teams of the championship teams have been tested for infection with Corona virus twice a week since they resumed their training on May 19.

After performing more than seven thousand tests, only 14 positive results appeared. And now, all the Premier League clubs in England have decided to adhere to the "new normal" rules of English football.

On the day of the match, each player and member of the different team and club crews completes the inspection questionnaire and undergoes a temperature test before entering the stadium.

These results will be recorded in a "medical passport" that will be used as an application on their phone or a piece of paper to confirm their status regarding "COFED 19", which is the disease caused by infection with the emerging corona virus.

If the test results are negative for the past five days, they will be allowed to enter. If there is any suspected case of the virus, and confirmed by an authorized official, the person will be removed and obliged to self-isolate. If a person is participating in the same game, the match can be canceled, but this will be according to the circumstances.

The English Premier League encouraged flying for the team on long trips. For example, Southampton travel to meet Newcastle. For shorter trips, up to three coaches may be used to keep players apart from each other according to social distance and other employees must travel individually in their private cars. Overnight accommodation is permitted in hotels, but the League urges that this option be avoided if possible.

Regarding the media, there will be only one commentator for the match from "Radio 5" with the BBC, holding the tournament rights.

Providers of analyzes and game abstracts will have to do their job and comment directly on the match from home.

A maximum of 25 representatives of the written media and club performance analysts will be allowed to be present in the stands in the yellow zone.

Players are allowed to use the shower cabins taking into account the social spacing. Medical personnel must wear personal protective equipment and masks while treating injured players.

Both teams go to the field, separately from the other and from the refereeing team as well. The two teams will not be allowed to enter the stadium side by side nor will children be allowed to accompany the players as usual during their entry to the stadium.

The presence of amulets and handshaking between the players and the leaders of the two teams will be prohibited, and in return, the match will be allowed to stop for one minute in each half in order to consume water in order to reduce any stress or fatigue in the high temperatures, and the players must use a hand sanitizer every time they enter or leave the stadium. .

On the bench: Players will be required to sit with a difference of two separate seats while the use of face masks (gags) will be optional and not mandatory. The League increased the number of substitute players on the bench from seven players to nine in light of changing the substitution rule by allowing five substitutions for each team in the match instead of three substitutions.
