Armand Duplantis was the big star of the winter in the athletics world, with two world records as the top notes.

When the outdoor season started today, with the competition "Impossible Games" at Bislett in Oslo, it became just like last winter's victory for the 20-year-old Swede. But far from the world record.

"Fantastically beautiful"

The Swede managed "only" 5.86 - something he did with a dare in the last attempt.

- He jumps so beautifully. There is a slight feeling that the last "push", which when setting a world record, may not be there. But it is a high level this, says SVT Sports expert Kajsa Bergqvist.

"Great result"

But it was enough to win, as he had fewer demolitions than Renaud Lavillenie (who jumped on his plot home in France).

- I wonder what he thinks of "garden press", because this is a fantastic result given the conditions. An extremely impressive season premiere by Renaud Lavillenie, says SVT Sports expert Kajsa Bergqvist.

"Not really there yet"

After the victory was completed, Duplantis sent up the bar at 6.01, which had been the stadium record. However, he was never really close.

- He is not quite there yet, but I think we will see some sex meter jumps a little later this summer, says Kajsa Bergqvist.
