Spanish AC Milan midfielder Samu Castillejo has revealed that he was robbed this Tuesday at gunpoint "by two boys" in Milan (Italy), although he has assured that he is "fine" and that the assailants have only taken his watch.

"In Milan, everything is fine? Two boys have robbed me with a pistol pointed at my face," the 25-year-old from Malaga said in a post on his Instragram account.

The midfielder was in his vehicle when two robbers assaulted him, pointed a gun at him and forced him to give him his watch before fleeing. After that, the Spanish player reported the theft to the police.

"They only took one watch. I'm fine, thanks to everyone," concluded the message from the footballer 'rossonero', who has a contract until 2023 and who will soon resume competition in Serie A after the stoppage due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Castillejo remained in Milan during the confinement to "not put at risk" anyone in his family. "The situation here was not easy, there were many infected people and I decided to stay in Milan," he said in an interview with Sky Sport Italia on March 23. "My family is well and at home, she is also worried about me, because I am here alone. We hope that it happens as soon as possible, especially to have the opportunity to be close to my family," he added.
