The legal advisor of the Egyptian Al-Ahly Club, Mohamed Othman, revealed that he submitted an application to "Al-Ahmar" President Mahmoud Al-Khatib to not continue in his post.
Othman told the Egyptian Echo Channel that he decided to apologize for his mission during this period, out of respect for the Al-Ahly club’s approach, especially since the club’s administration asked him to refrain from responding to what he described as the violations that occurred against him during the last days by the president of Zamalek club, Mortada Mansour.
Muhammad Othman confirmed that he will not leave his right and will respond to the excesses of Mortada Mansour in the coming hours, stressing that the matter has become personal and therefore he decided to submit his resignation to remove the embarrassment from Al-Ahly and the management of the club, and so that he could respond and reveal what he described as his lies and false accusations before public opinion.
Mohamed Othman explained that his relationship with Mortada Mansour extends for 31 years, and he supported him in many cases and crises, pointing out that the Al-Ahly administration made several reports against the President of Zamalek, but most of them collided with the rock of impunity.
