It is one of the great summer events in Swedish sports. Around 20,000 started during five days orientation, as a Vasalopp per day and with many side events. This year's edition was intended in Uppland, with Uppsala as the central location, but is now being moved one year in time.

There are still fixed costs of 8-10 million and missed revenue for the clubs equally. The acute liquidity has been saved by loyal orienteers who do not recover this year's registration fee, but choose to move their starting place to next year. At the same time, 2021 will be a lean revenue year.

- The backpack of a lost O-Ring year we will carry with us for a long time. It's heavy, says acting CEO Jens Lindquist to SVT Sport.

It is a taken and almost tear-eyed manager, short-term, just like the other office, who is thinking of a tumultuous spring.

- It's painful. There are so many dreams associated with this, both from participants, officials and ourselves working on it, to think that it will not get rid of, we are driven by this, he says with a quiver in his voice.

Now it will be a reboot before 2021 for Uppland, whose organizer clubs have gone through steel baths before. The last edition in the district, 2001, became a minus store. Now they are fighting red numbers again, but the CEO hopes for a good backing from the government's support package.

- If we can get the most important part covered, ie our costs, then the associations go reasonably harmless throughout the year.

Around SEK 8-10 million?

- Yes, that would be fantastic.
