The former star of the French team and Bayern Munich soccer team Willie Sanyol said that he saw the decision to cancel the French league season, due to the crisis of the epidemic of the new Corona virus (Covid-19), was a big mistake, especially after the return of the German league competitions (Bundesliga) succeeded.
"The problem is that the decision to cancel the French league season was taken very early. Now the French fans are looking at Germany, and there is no doubt that many are jealous," Sanyol said in comments to the German magazine "Germany".
The French League in late April announced the cancellation of the season, and Paris Saint-Germain, the league leaders, was crowned the title.
One of the reasons for the decision, Sanyol said, is the fact that many clubs are already earning television broadcasts.
It should be noted that Sanyol, who worked as an assistant coach for Carlo Ancelotti in Bayern Munich, is hoping to return to training and wants his next stop in the Bundesliga.
"I very much want to work in Germany again," Sanyol said. "I started my career in Germany and I am 22 years old and matured there. I feel very connected to Germany."
