“Since the protests in the US and Canada in recent days have paid attention to racial justice for a black community, the NHL stands with everyone who works to achieve a racially fair society and against all people who support racism, hatred, fanaticism and violence,” the league said on Twitter.

The NHL also supported the calls of hockey players and clubs for justice.

“We will continue to do our own sport better and work hard in the direction of culture,” the message says.

On May 25, an African American, George Floyd, died as a result of a Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin holding a knee to his neck while he was lying face down on the road. This incident hit the video and caused a wide response in the United States.
